The FED-X XUB7C13S2V gives you 282 litres of chilled storage under a 1360mm stainless steel top, so a cafe, restaurant or takeaway gets prep space and fridge space in one footprint. Fan-forced cooling holds -2°C to +8°C, and FED rates it for kitchens up to 43°C. This is the two solid door, 700mm-deep model in the XUB7 range. Choose the XUB7C13G2V if you want glass doors, or the XUB7C13S2D if you would rather have four drawers.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: the packed unit is 1390mm long and 730mm deep. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside or unpacking, so check your doorways and the path to the kitchen.
• Power: it plugs into a standard 10 A power point (240V).
• Airflow: it can sit against a wall, but keep the vents clear and leave a little room around it so the fridge can breathe.
• Options: FED makes a splashback top, extra shelf sets and drawer kits that can replace the doors. Ask us for prices.

Common questions:

Can I use the top as a prep bench?
Yes. FED designs the XUB series to work as a stand-alone worktop or to slide under an existing bench. If it will sit against a wall, the optional splashback top keeps splashes off the wall.

Will it keep up in a hot kitchen?
FED rates it for room temperatures up to 43°C at 60% humidity, and it is tropicalised for Australian conditions.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It is a plug-in unit on a standard 10 A plug. If you need a new power point, have it fitted by a licensed electrician.
