Want to cook with electric equipment where you can't run an exhaust duct? The Simco Hood DH1500-850D combines a 620mm-high stainless steel bench and a filtered hood in one 1500mm-wide unit, cleaning the air through honeycomb, polyester and carbon filters instead of venting outside. This model is 850mm deep, 100mm deeper than the DH1500-750D, giving more room front to back for deeper appliances, and it takes electric appliances up to 8 kW each.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: the crate is 900mm deep and 1500mm tall, so it may not pass through a standard doorway. Measure your entry before ordering. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, at 250 kg packed.
- Appliances: it's rated for electric appliances up to 8 kW each, so check each appliance you plan to use under it.
- Power: the hood motor draws 1.4 A. Any hard-wired or three-phase connection for your appliances must be done by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
- Filters: Simco recommends changing the polyester filter every 8–12 weeks and the carbon filter every 12 months.
