Spidocook SPE-SP015PR-B - BBQ Master Electric Contact Grill, Ribbed Plates, 300 x 400mm
BBQ Master is Spidocook's answer for kitchens that want barbecue-style grill marks without a full-size grill: ribbed upper and lower plates mark burgers, steak, sausages and vegetables on both sides at once. The 300 x 400mm cooking area reaches up to 400°C on 3kW, and a removable steel drawer catches the juices. Built from pressed AISI 304 stainless steel in a 481mm-wide body, it suits operators short on space. Unlike the Spidoglass presses, both plates are ribbed.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: it has a 15 amp plug and needs a 15 amp power point (a standard power point is 10 amp). A licensed electrician can fit one if needed. We supply the equipment only.
- Bench space: allow 481 x 457mm for the 14.9 kg unit, plus room above for the lid and around it for heat.
- Grease: empty and clean the removable drawer regularly, especially after fatty foods like sausages and burgers.

How is it different from the ribbed Spidoglass press?
The Spidoglass SPE-SP015PR has a ribbed top plate and a smooth bottom, so it marks one side, and it comes in 3kW or a 2kW 10 amp Eco version. The BBQ Master has ribs on both plates, a removable steel drawer for liquids, and is 3kW on a 15 amp plug only. Both are 481 x 457 x 182mm.
Where do the fat and juices go?
Into a removable steel drawer that collects liquids, so you can empty and wash it separately.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. If you don't have a 15 amp power point, one must be fitted by a licensed electrician in your area.
