The Turbo Air KHR15-2-N gives a sandwich line or salad bar 1500 mm of hooded pan rail, supplied with 14 x 1/6 GN pans and a 1497 mm chopping board. Underneath, two solid doors open onto 420 litres of storage, 111 litres more than the 1200 mm KHR12-2-N in the same two-door layout. Chill air is blown over the pans, the lid closes over them in quiet periods, and the unit runs on R290 refrigerant with a patented self-cleaning condenser. If you need a third door, look at the 1800 mm KHR18-3-N.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: at 1500 mm long and 100 kg, it needs a clear path and a couple of people to move. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises and does not include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
• Hood clearance: the open lid reaches 1146 mm on castors, so check any shelving above the bench.
• Power: runs from a standard 10 amp outlet and draws 2.1 A.
• Legs or castors: it comes on castors. Legs are optional; ask us if you would prefer them.

Common questions:

What do I gain over the KHR12-2-N?
300 mm more rail and 111 litres more storage: 14 pans on top instead of 12, and 420 litres underneath instead of 309. Both have two doors and two shelves.

Does it need a drain?
No extra drain is needed. Turbo Air's hot gas condensate system uses the condensate water to help cool the refrigeration pipework, and Turbo Air says this removes the need for an extra drain.

Can I get it on legs instead of castors?
Yes. Castors are standard and legs are an option. Ask us for a price on legs.
