Turbo Air KUF9-2D-2-N - 2 Drawer Underbench Freezer 900mm 198L

The Turbo Air KUF9-2D-2-N is a compact way to keep frozen stock in drawers rather than behind a door. In a 900 mm wide footprint it has two deep stainless steel drawers, each taking a 1/1 GN pan up to 150 mm deep, and it holds -21°C to -12°C across 198 litres. That suits frozen chips, portioned proteins or pastry kept right beside the person cooking. Choose it over the 3 drawer KUF9-3D-3-N when you want fewer, deeper pans, or over the 1 door KUF9-1-N when you'd rather pull stock out than reach into a cabinet.

Key features:

  • Two durable stainless steel drawers, each holding 1 x 1/1 GN pan 150 mm deep
  • Freezer range of -21°C to -12°C, with fan cooling and a digital temperature control and monitor system
  • Turbo Cooling & Freeze function runs the compressor continuously for up to two hours to pull the temperature down after you restock
  • Patented self-cleaning condenser: a rotating brush clears dust from the condenser 2 to 3 times a day, so the compressor doesn't have to work harder
  • Front breathing: air is drawn in and pushed out at the front, so it can sit closer to walls or under a bench
  • Condensate system that Turbo Air says removes the need for an extra drain
  • Stainless steel inside and out, with high-density CFC-free polyurethane insulation
  • R290 natural refrigerant, on castors as standard (legs optional)

Good to know before you buy:

  • Access: the unit is 900 mm wide, 700 mm deep and weighs 84 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking, so check doorways and the path to the kitchen.
  • Height: Turbo Air's catalogue lists 855 mm and its website quotes 860 mm including castors, so measure under your bench against the taller figure.
  • Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet (220–240 V single phase) and draws 2.5 A at full load.
  • Not included: GN pans are sold separately.

Common questions:

Are GN pans included?
No. Each drawer is made to take one 1/1 GN pan up to 150 mm deep, and pans are sold separately. Ask us if you'd like pans priced with the freezer.

What does "2D-2" in the model code mean?
"2D" marks the deep-drawer version, built for 150 mm deep 1/1 GN pans, and the last number is the drawer count. The "3D" models use shallower 100 mm deep pans.

Do you install it?
There's nothing to install. It plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet, and Turbo Air says its condensate system removes the need for an extra drain. We supply the equipment only.
