Only 455mm wide, the Williams Vari Temp Compact VAZ5CTDR1-HC is a slim upright drawer unit that gives a cafe, pub, club or restaurant 109 litres of storage that can be a fridge one week and a freezer the next. The single deep drawer takes up to 35 kg of food, and the CoolSmart controller switches the cabinet between +1°C to +4°C and -18°C to -22°C. It runs on R290 natural refrigerant from a 10 amp plug, vents through the rear, and sits on rear castors with adjustable front feet so it stays put beside the cooking line. The VAZ5CTDR2-HC is the same cabinet split into two drawers.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: at 455mm wide and 870mm high it fits through any normal doorway, but it weighs 130 kg. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point with a 2 m cable.
- Airflow: the unit is rear ventilated, so leave a gap behind it and keep the vents clear.

No. The 455 in the name is its width in millimetres. Williams rates the cabinet at 109 litres, enough for about 35 kg of food in the single drawer.
Can I run it as a freezer all the time?
Yes. Set it to freezer mode and it holds -18°C to -22°C. You can switch back to fridge mode whenever you need to.
Do you install it?
There is nothing to install. It plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet and needs no drain. We supply the equipment only.
