The Williams Vari Temp Drawer VSWCD1S-HC is two complete Vari Temp drawer units stacked into one 830mm-high stainless steel cabinet. Each drawer has its own refrigeration system, CoolSmart controller and 10 amp plug, and each can be set to run as a +1°C to +4°C fridge or a -18°C to -22°C freezer, so you can keep frozen stock in one drawer and fresh in the other, or run both the same way. Together they hold four 1/1 GN pans up to 150mm deep, which suits pubs, steakhouses and catering kitchens that want bulk storage right at the cooking line. It uses R290 natural refrigerant and is rated for 40°C rooms. The single-drawer VSWCD1L-HC is the same unit on its own at 455mm high.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: you need two 10 amp power points, one for each drawer unit. Each has its own 2 m cable.
- Access: it is 1100mm wide, 670mm deep and 830mm high, and Williams lists the stacked pair at 400 kg. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so check the path to its final spot.
- Airflow: both units vent through the sides. Leave space beside the cabinet so neither system is starved of air.

Yes. The two drawer units are independent, each with its own refrigeration system and controller, so you can set one to -18°C to -22°C and the other to +1°C to +4°C.
