About Velosi
Velosi makes a compact, commercial-grade high speed oven for busy food outlets. It combines convection, microwave and impingement heating to cut cook times, with precise temperature control and a touchscreen that stores programmed recipes and tracks diagnostics and usage. It is built from stainless steel, with insulation and safety interlocks. The oven is ventless and sits on a countertop, so it needs no extraction hood or ducting. Meris Food Equipment is the Australian distributor.

Velosi FAQs
Does the Velosi oven need an extraction hood?
No. Velosi says the oven is ventless, so it needs no extraction hood or ducting. It sits on a countertop and needs clearances of 52mm above, 10mm on each side and 50mm behind.
What power supply does the Velosi need?
It runs on a 15 amp single phase supply with a 3-pin plug, so it needs a 15 amp power point (a standard power point is 10 amp). The maker's guide also says the circuit must have a D-curve circuit breaker. A licensed electrician can fit both. We supply the equipment only.
What comes with the Velosi oven?
Each oven includes a heavy duty loading shovel, a non-reinforced black tray and a perforated black tray. It measures 410mm wide, 630mm deep (843mm with the door open) and 590mm high, and weighs 52kg.
Can staff change the cooking programs?
Programs can be locked once they are set up, so nobody can change them and each item cooks the same way every time. Food can stay chilled or frozen until it is ordered and then be cooked to order.
