The Benchstar ES-4000L is a 600mm rise and fall electric salamander for restaurant, hotel and pub kitchens. Its lifting suspension system holds the heating element at whatever height you set, so you can sear close up or finish gently from higher up. With a 590 x 320 mm grid and 4 kW of power, it sits between the 450mm ES-2800L and the 800mm ES-5600L in the ES range.
