Benchstar ES-5600L - Electric Salamander with Adjustable Height, 5.6kW, 800mm
The Benchstar ES-5600L is the biggest salamander in the ES range, an 800mm heavy-duty unit for high-volume restaurant, pub and hotel kitchens. Its 5.6 kW alloy elements grill, gratinate and finish several plates at once over a 790 x 320 mm grid, with an adjustable cooking height of up to 140mm. It has nearly twice the grid width of the 450mm ES-2800L and is hard-wired, so plan for an electrician.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: it draws 25 A at 240V and must be hard-wired by a licensed electrician. Check your switchboard has capacity for it. We supply the equipment only.
- Access: it weighs 63 kg and the box is 920mm long. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, so have help ready.
- Bench: use a sturdy bench at least 800mm wide, clear of shelves and walls that can't take heat.
