The K+ DR-800 is a round, upright gas duck oven for Chinese and other Asian restaurants that roast duck, pork and other meats. A 73 MJ/h cast iron ring burner and volcanic rocks spread the heat evenly, and the birds hang from an internal rail so excess fat drains off. It is the only duck oven in the B+S range.

Good to know before you buy:

• Gas type: choose Natural Gas or LPG when you order, to match your gas supply.
• Installation: gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, to local regulations and under a suitable exhaust canopy. The drain and overflow also need a licensed plumber, so plan where they will run before the oven arrives. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for an 830 mm diameter, 1500 mm tall unit, about 75 kg.

Common questions:

Is it only for duck?
No. It also roasts pork and other meats, so it suits a menu of roast pork alongside the ducks.

Will it fit under my canopy?
Check this first. It stands 1500 mm high, 200 mm taller than the K+ wok tables, and the lid lifts off for access from the top, so allow clearance above it as well.

Does it need a power point?
No. It connects to gas, a drain and an overflow, with no power supply.
