B+S Black YCJSF-1HE - 600mm Waterless Heat Exchange Gas Steamer

The B+S Black YCJSF-1HE is a single hole gas steamer that needs no water deck cooling, for Chinese restaurants, hotels and institutions. An automatic refill keeps the 37 L tank topped up, so only the water needed for cooking is used and no taps get left running. The CFPSF-1HE is the same steamer set up for cheung fun, and the YCJSF-1 pot steamer steps up to 64 L and 130 MJ.

Good to know before you buy:

• Gas type: choose Natural Gas or LPG when you order, to match your gas supply.
• Installation: gas appliances must be connected by a licensed gas fitter, to local regulations and under a suitable exhaust canopy. The water and waste connections also need a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways for a 600 x 840 x 1300 mm unit.

Common questions:

If it is waterless, why does it need a water line?
"Waterless" means the deck does not need running water to cool it. The steamer still makes steam from water, so the 1/2 inch copper inlet feeds the tank.

Are a lid and steamer trays included?
The 7 hole steaming plate is supplied. The lid cover and tray set are extras.

Should I choose heat exchange or a pot steamer?
This model takes less floor space and refills itself by ball float. The YCJSF-1 holds more water and has a stronger burner, but is 150 mm wider and 60 mm deeper.
