The Fiamma GR 8.2L is a double contact grill with a smooth cast iron lower plate and two separate grooved cast iron upper plates, over a 550 x 245 mm working area. Fiamma designed it for baguettes and other products of a similar size, and the two lids let you cook different items at the same time. It suits cafes, sandwich bars, bakeries and takeaways. Compared with the Fiamma CG Duplex grills, it has cast iron plates instead of Duplex plates, grooved tops and a longer plate, and it needs a 15 amp power point.

Each upper plate is its own cover, so you can press a baguette under one while cooking a different product under the other.
How do I clean cast iron plates?
Fiamma says the cast iron plates can be scrubbed clean with an abrasive.
Will it fit a full baguette?
The plate surface is 550 mm long by 245 mm deep. Fiamma designed this grill for baguettes and products of similar size, so check your bread length against the 550 mm plate.
