The Hyppocampus GP-8 is an electric glass polisher that dries and polishes glasses straight from the glasswasher, two at a time. It suits bars, wine bars, pubs, restaurants and function venues that want clear, dry glassware without hand-polishing every glass with a cloth. It doesn't wash glasses, so it works after a glasswasher such as the Sammic UX-40SB DD.

Is this the same machine as the Sammic GP-8?
Yes. The GP-8 is made in Italy under the Hyppocampus brand and brought into Australia by Sammic Australia, whose spec sheet lists it as the Sammic GP-8. The warranty is through Sammic Australia.
Will it handle champagne flutes?
Yes. Two of the eight brushes are tapered specifically for flutes, and the other six are full brushes for regular glasses.
How do I clean the brushes?
The brushes come out easily. Wash them with water and a non-foam detergent, then refit them.
