The Dihr GS 40 is a compact Italian glasswasher for bars, cafes and restaurants that need clean glasses fast from a small footprint. At just 450mm wide and 700mm high, it slides under most bar counters and runs a simple 2 minute cycle using only 1.8 litres of water. It is the entry model in the Dihr undercounter range: a single wash cycle and a 400 x 400mm rack, where the OPTIMA 400 adds an electronic TFT control panel and up to 8 cycles.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: at 3.2 kW it draws more than a standard 10 A power point supplies, so have a licensed electrician provide a suitable single-phase circuit. We supply the equipment only.
• Water and drain: it needs a water connection and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. Dihr specifies water hardness of 2–8 °F (French degrees), so ask your plumber whether your site needs a softener.
• Water temperature: a 55°C hot water supply gives the fastest turnaround. On cold water the machine still works, but output drops to about 16 racks per hour.
• Access: at 450mm wide it is easy to handle. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; bringing it inside and unpacking are not included.

Common questions:

Will it fit under my bar?
It is 700mm high, 450mm wide and 535mm deep, so it suits most standard under-counter spaces. Check your opening, plus room for the door to drop open at the front.

Does it come with racks?
Yes. It comes with 2 glass baskets (400 x 400), a saucer holder and a cutlery basket. Ask us about extra racks.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician in your area.
