The Dihr GS 50 ECO is a straightforward undercounter dishwasher for cafes, small restaurants and takeaways that need to wash plates, bowls and glasses without fuss. It takes full-size 500 x 500mm racks with 320mm of clearance and runs one 2 minute cycle on just 2.3 litres of water. Compared with the OPTIMA 500, it keeps things simple with a single cycle and standard dispensers, while the OPTIMA adds TFT controls, up to 8 cycles and a pressurised boiler.

Good to know before you buy:

• Bench height: it stands 850mm high, so check it fits under your bench before ordering.
• Power: at 3.45 kW it draws more than a standard 10 A power point supplies, so have a licensed electrician provide a suitable single-phase circuit. We supply the equipment only.
• Water and drain: it needs a water connection and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. Dihr specifies water hardness of 2–8 °F (French degrees), so ask your plumber whether your site needs a softener.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Bringing it inside and unpacking are not included.

Common questions:

Will it wash glasses too?
Yes. It takes standard 500 x 500mm racks, so you can run glass racks as well as the supplied plate basket.

How many cycles does it have?
One 2 minute cycle. If you want a choice of quick and heavy-duty cycles, look at the OPTIMA 500.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician in your area.
