Nemco NME-8018-230 / NME-8018SX-230 - Hot Dog Roller Grill, 18 Hot Dogs, Flat Top
The Nemco NME-8018 is a flat-top roller grill that holds 18 hot dogs in a 470mm wide footprint, a good fit for a cafe, bakery or service station counter that sells hot dogs steadily through the day. It runs on 950W from a standard 10 amp power point, with separate heat controls for the front and rear rollers. It is also the smallest Nemco grill with its own bun warmer, bun box and guards, so you can build a tidy hot dog station around it. Choose chrome rollers (NME-8018-230) or GripsIt coated rollers (NME-8018SX-230).
Key features:
- Holds 18 hot dogs on a flat roller bed
- Choice of chrome rollers or GripsIt coated rollers (Nemco's own non-stick coating, for quicker clean-up)
- 2 heat controls, one for the front rollers and one for the rear, with 7 heat settings
- Each roller has its own heating element for an even temperature
- Removable grease drip pan
- Ready to cook about 20 minutes after switch-on
- Stainless steel and aluminium construction, made in the USA
- Sits on top of the matching NME-8018-BW heated bun warmer or NME-8018-SBB bun box

Good to know before you buy:
- Rollers: both versions are the same size and power. GripsIt rollers have Nemco's non-stick coating to reduce clean-up time; chrome is the traditional roller finish.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point. The heated bun warmer has its own 400W, 10 amp supply, so plan for a second power point if you add one.
- Bun storage: the NME-8018-BW keeps 24 buns warm and moist. The unheated NME-8018-SBB stores 36 buns in their bags. Both sit under this grill.
Compare similar models:
- Nemco NME-8010SX-230: smaller 10 hot dog grill, 406mm wide, GripsIt rollers only
- Nemco NME-8027-230: 27 hot dogs, 565mm wide, same 950W power
- Nemco NME-8027SLT-230: 27 hot dogs on a slanted display
- Nemco NME-8018-BW-230: matching moist heat bun warmer, 24 buns
- Nemco NME-8018-SBB: matching unheated stainless steel bun box, 36 buns
Common questions:
Should I choose the bun warmer or the bun box?
The NME-8018-BW is heated, with a water reservoir that keeps 24 buns warm and moist. The NME-8018-SBB is an unheated stainless steel box that stores 36 buns, still in their bags. Both fit under the 8018.
Can I get a guard for self-serve?
Yes. The NME-8018-GD self-serve guard and the NME-8018-CGD canopy sneeze guard are made for the 8018 series. See our Nemco roller grill guards.
Is there a divider kit for this grill?
Nemco's divider kits are listed for the 8027 size and up, not the 8018. If you want to keep flavours apart on one grill, look at the NME-8027 or larger.
