The Nemco Easy Tomato Slicer 2 is the updated version of Nemco's tomato slicer. Its blades sit in an enclosed cartridge and come pretensioned, so there is no blade tension to adjust, and the self-lubricating track keeps them aligned for clean cuts. Choose the NTS1045 for 4.5mm slices (14 blades) or the NTS1060 for 6mm slices (11 blades). Compared with the original NTS0045, it has a longer, narrower footprint and a swap-out blade cartridge.

Good to know before you buy:

• Replacement cartridges: when the blades wear, you replace the whole blade cartridge. ICE lists XNTS5661 for the 4.5mm and XNTS5662 for the 6mm. Ask us for a price.
