The Skipio SFT25-1 is a single door upright freezer that fits 574 litres of frozen stock into a cabinet only 640mm wide. It holds -21°C to -12°C with fan-forced cooling and automatic defrost, ideal for cafes, takeaways and kitchens storing chips, proteins and desserts. It matches the SRT25-1 fridge, so the pair can sit side by side, and the SFT25-2 offers the same space behind two half doors.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: 1937mm tall and 850mm deep, so check doorways and stairs. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
• Power: a standard 10 A plug. Skipio requires it to be plugged directly into a wall outlet.
• Airflow: the condenser vents at the top, so leave at least 300mm between the cabinet and the ceiling, and keep it away from fryers and ovens.
• First use: run it for about 30 minutes before loading any stock.

Common questions:

What temperature can I set it to?
Anywhere from -21°C to -12°C on the digital controller. Adjusting it needs the "Set" button, which stops the setting being changed by accident.

Will I have to defrost it by hand?
No. Defrost is automatic. Skipio says it usually runs 4 to 6 times a day for 20 to 30 minutes.

Does it need a drain or plumber?
No. It has a drain water evaporation system and simply plugs into a 10 A outlet. We supply the equipment only.
