Turbo Air KF25-1G-N - 1 Glass Door Upright Freezer 640mm 574L

See your frozen stock without opening the door. The Turbo Air KF25-1G-N is a slim 640 mm upright freezer with one full-height glass door and 574 litres held at -21°C to -12°C, a good fit for cafes, kiosks and kitchens that want frozen stock on show. The door is double glazed with heated, low-E glass, and the top-mounted system runs on R290 natural refrigerant with Turbo Air's patented self-cleaning condenser. It is the single glass door model in this size: the KF25-2G-N splits the same cabinet into two half glass doors, and the solid-door KF25-1-N uses less energy if you don't need the view.

Key features:

  • One full-height glass door with double-glazed, heated, low-E glass and LED interior lighting
  • 574 litres held at -21°C to -12°C, with fan cooling to move cold air through the cabinet
  • Patented self-cleaning condenser: a rotating brush passes over the condenser 2 to 3 times a day so dust doesn't build up and make the compressor work harder
  • Turbo Cooling & Freeze function runs the compressor continuously for up to two hours to pull the temperature back down after restocking
  • Digital temperature control and monitor system
  • Drain water evaporation (hot gas condensate) system, which Turbo Air says removes the need for an extra drain
  • 3 adjustable heavy-duty PE (polyethylene) coated wire shelves, rated at 50 kg
  • Stainless steel exterior and interior, recessed easy-grip handle and magnetic door gasket
  • Top-mounted compressor, R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and castors for moving it out to clean

Good to know before you buy:

  • Access: the cabinet is 640 mm wide, 1926 mm tall and weighs 95 kg. Turbo Air's price list prints the depth as 850 mm, while its catalogue and product page say 860 mm, so allow for 860 mm. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking, so check your doorways first.
  • Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point (single phase 220–240 V) and draws 2.5 full load amps.
  • Airflow: the compressor sits on top, so keep the space above the cabinet clear and leave room around it for air to move.
  • Energy: Turbo Air quotes 7.05 kWh per 24 hours for this glass door model, against 4.74 kWh for the solid-door KF25-1-N.

Common questions:

Will the glass door fog up?
Turbo Air fits this freezer with double-glazed, heated, low-E glass. The heated glass is there to help keep condensation off the door so your stock stays visible.

How quickly does it get back down to temperature after a delivery?
Turbo Air doesn't publish a recovery time, but the Turbo Cooling & Freeze function on the control panel runs the compressor non-stop for up to two hours to bring the cabinet back down after you load it.

Do you install it?
There is nothing to install. It plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet and Turbo Air says no extra drain is needed. We supply the equipment only.
