Built for a 1200mm bench, the Skipio SUF12-2 is a two door underbench freezer holding 280 litres at -21°C to -12°C. Keeping frozen stock under the fryer or grill station saves trips to the coolroom, which is why it suits takeaways, pubs and busy cafe kitchens. It pairs with the SUR12-2 fridge, and the SUF12-3D-6 gives the same space in six drawers.

Good to know before you buy:

• Airflow: Skipio asks for at least 50mm from walls, as warm air leaves at the back and side. Keep the left-hand side clear, where the motor sits, and don't block the front grille.
• Power: standard 10 A plug into a wall outlet. Skipio doesn't allow extension leads under its warranty terms.
• Access: 1200mm wide and 84 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.

Common questions:

Will it keep ice cream hard?
It holds down to -21°C and is factory set at -18°C, which is standard freezer storage temperature.

What happens if it gets too warm?
The controller shows "HI" if the cabinet goes above +18°C, so you'll know something is wrong.

Is it level-adjustable?
Yes. Skipio includes four spacers and a spanner so you can level it, which keeps the condensate tray from overflowing.

Warranty: 2 years parts and labour from Skipio, for units bought and used in Australia. Consumable parts such as door gaskets, castors and legs aren't covered, and the condenser must be kept clean.
