Williams Topaz Under Counter LTU2SSHC - 2 Door Undercounter Storage Freezer 1300mm 260L

Frozen storage within arm's reach of the cook line is what the Williams Topaz Under Counter LTU2SSHC is for. It is the freezer version of the HTU2SSHC: a 1300mm wide two door stainless steel cabinet holding 260 litres at -18°C to -22°C, breathing through the front so it can be boxed in under a bench, and running from a 10 amp plug on R290 natural refrigerant. Williams designs the Topaz Under Counter range for a 38°C ambient, so it is at home beside fryers and grills. A three door freezer, the LTU3SSHC, is available if you need more space.

Key features:

  • 260 litres of frozen storage held at -18°C to -22°C
  • Front-breathing refrigeration, so it can be built in between other benches
  • Two self-closing solid doors with cylindrical locks and face-mounted hinges
  • Stainless steel interior and exterior (excluding rear and underside)
  • 2 adjustable plastic-coated shelves per door
  • Internal LED lighting and an electronic controller with digital temperature display
  • Forced air refrigeration system
  • Auto defrost with a waste heat recovery vaporiser, so no drain is needed
  • R290 natural refrigerant, 10 amp power, 38°C ambient rating

Good to know before you buy:

  • Access: 1300mm wide, 670mm deep, 850mm high on castors and 90 kg. Check the bench opening and the doorway. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.
  • Power: standard 10 amp power point, 2.5 A while running. Give it its own outlet rather than a shared power board.
  • Airflow: front breathing, so the front grille must stay clear; the sides and back can be enclosed. Next to hot equipment, keep the grille free of grease.
  • Loading: let it reach -18°C before loading, and add product in stages so it holds temperature.

Common questions:

Can it sit next to a fryer or grill?
Williams rates the Topaz Under Counter range for a 38°C ambient and it breathes through the front, so it can be built in beside cooking equipment. Keep the front grille clean and clear.

Is there a drain to connect?
No. Defrost water is evaporated using waste heat from the refrigeration system.

Do you install it?
Nothing to install. It plugs into a 10 amp outlet. We supply the equipment only.
