Need to toast in volume without a double-width press? This large Spidoglass model has one 300 x 400mm transparent smooth glass plate, giving room for bigger sandwiches, wraps and focaccia in a body just 481mm wide. Transparent glass is Spidocook's "maximum speed" surface, rated for crispness and high output. You choose the power when you order: 3kW on a 15 amp plug (SPE-SP015PT) or 2kW on a standard 10 amp plug (SPE-SP015T, Meris's Low Consumption Eco Range), with the same plate and size either way.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: the 3kW SPE-SP015PT has a 15 amp plug and needs a 15 amp power point (a standard power point is 10 amp). A licensed electrician can fit one if needed. We supply the equipment only. The SPE-SP015T plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet.
- Bench space: the footprint is 481 x 457mm. Leave clear space above for the lid and around the sides for heat to escape.
- Choosing a version: if your counter has no spare 15 amp outlet, the 2kW Eco version avoids any electrical work.

Common questions:
What's the difference between the SPE-SP015PT and SPE-SP015T?
Only the power. Both have the same 300 x 400mm transparent plate and the same 481 x 457 x 182mm body. The SPE-SP015PT is 3kW on a 15 amp plug, and the SPE-SP015T is 2kW on a standard 10 amp plug.
Can I cook more than toasted sandwiches on it?
Yes. Spidocook lists meats, seafood, bacon and eggs, vegetables and general grilling for the Spidoglass range. The transparent glass is tuned for speed and crispness, while the black glass versions give more uniform control for meats and heavily filled dishes.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. The 10 amp version simply plugs in. For the 15 amp version, any new power point must be fitted by a licensed electrician in your area.
