Turbo Air KGR24-4-N - 4 Glass Door Underbench Fridge 2400mm 705L
The Turbo Air KGR24-4-N is the longest KGR glass door underbench fridge we offer: four glass doors, 2400 mm of stainless steel and 705 litres at 1°C to 8°C. To cool a cabinet this size it steps up to a 1/2 HP compressor (the smaller KGR models use 1/4 HP), so it suits a full bar back, a hotel or club servery, or a long display counter where everything needs to be on show. It still runs from a standard 10 amp plug and uses R290 natural refrigerant.
Key features:
- Four glass doors over 2400 mm, double the width of the 1200 mm KGR12-2-N
- 705 litres with 4 adjustable heavy-duty (50 kg) PE-coated wire shelves
- 1/2 HP compressor with fan-forced cooling, holding 1°C to 8°C
- Digital temperature control and monitoring, plus Turbo Cooling for a fast pull-down after a big restock
- Patented self-cleaning condenser that brushes away dust automatically
- Front breathing design, with an easy-open front grille and condenser filter
- Drain water evaporation system, so no extra drain is needed
- Stainless steel exterior and interior, recessed grip handles, magnetic gaskets
- Castors as standard, legs optional

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: this is a 2.4 metre cabinet weighing 195 kg. Check every doorway, hallway and corner, and line up enough people to move it. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery does not include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
- Height: 855 mm in the catalogue, 850 mm in the price list and 860 mm including castors on Turbo Air's website. Allow 860 mm.
- Power: standard 10 amp plug; Turbo Air lists 3.1 A full load for this model, more than the smaller glass door units.
- Airflow: the condenser breathes at the front, so keep the grille clear.
Compare similar models:
- Turbo Air KUR24-4-N: same 2400 mm size and 705 litres with solid doors, 3.1 kWh per 24 hours
- Turbo Air KGR18-3-N: 1800 mm, three glass doors, 538 litres
- Turbo Air KUR18-3-N: 1800 mm, three solid doors, 538 litres
Common questions:
How much energy does it use?
Turbo Air quotes 5.1 kWh per 24 hours, about 1,862 kWh a year. If you do not need to display the stock, the solid door KUR24-4-N of the same size is quoted at 3.1 kWh per 24 hours.
Will it need a drain?
No. Its drain water evaporation system takes care of condensate, and Turbo Air says this removes the need for an extra drain, which also helps keep floors dry.
What does the -N in the code stand for?
It identifies the current R290 hydrocarbon version. R290 is a natural refrigerant and a climate-friendly alternative to HFC refrigerants.
