Turbo Air KR45-2G-N - 2 Glass Door Upright Fridge 1260mm 1215L
Twice the width of the 640 mm models, the Turbo Air KR45-2G-N gives you 1215 litres of chilled storage behind two full-height glass doors in a 1260 mm cabinet. That is room for a busy restaurant's prep stock or a cafe's drinks and desserts, spread over 6 adjustable shelves at 1°C to 8°C, with LED lighting so everything is visible before the door opens. It uses R290 natural refrigerant, a patented self-cleaning condenser and plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet. Want smaller doors? The KR45-4G-N has four half doors across the same width, and the solid KR45-2-N is the lower-energy option.
Key features:
- Two full-height glass doors with LED interior lighting
- 1215 litres at 1°C to 8°C, with fan cooling to spread cold air across the wide cabinet
- 6 adjustable heavy-duty PE-coated wire shelves, rated at 50 kg
- Patented self-cleaning condenser: a brush moves up and down the condenser 2 to 3 times a day to keep it free of dust
- Turbo Cooling & Freeze to recover temperature quickly after a delivery, with the compressor running continuously for up to two hours
- Digital temperature control and monitor system
- Drain water evaporation system, so Turbo Air says no extra drain is needed
- Stainless steel exterior and interior, recessed easy-grip handles and magnetic door gaskets
- Top-mounted compressor, R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, on castors

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: at 1260 mm wide, 1926 mm high and 152 kg, check every doorway and corner on the way in. Turbo Air's price list prints the depth as 850 mm, but its catalogue and product page say 860 mm, so allow 860 mm. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
- Power: runs from a standard 10 amp plug (single phase 220–240 V) at 2.5 full load amps.
- Energy: Turbo Air quotes 4.21 kWh per 24 hours for this glass door model and 2.63 kWh for the solid-door KR45-2-N.
- Airflow: keep the space above the cabinet clear for the top-mounted compressor.
Compare similar models:

- Turbo Air KR45-2-N: solid door version, 1215 litres, 2.63 kWh per 24 hours

Common questions:
Will it run on a normal power point?
Yes. It has a standard 10 amp plug and is rated at 350 W and 2.5 full load amps on single phase 220–240 V power.
What happens to the temperature when I restock it?
Loading warm stock raises the temperature for a while. The Turbo Cooling & Freeze function runs the compressor continuously for up to two hours to pull it back down faster.
