Turbo Air KUR12-2-N - 2 Door Underbench Fridge 1200mm 311L

The Turbo Air KUR12-2-N is a 1200 mm, two solid door underbench fridge with 311 litres of storage at 1°C to 8°C, a good fit for a cafe line, sandwich bar or small restaurant kitchen. It runs on R290 natural refrigerant, uses 1.39 kWh per 24 hours and plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet. Its glass door twin, the KGR12-2-N, has the same size and capacity but uses 2.22 kWh per 24 hours, so this solid door version is the one to choose when you do not need to display stock.

Key features:

  • 311 litres behind two solid doors, with 2 adjustable heavy-duty (50 kg) PE-coated wire shelves
  • Fan-forced cooling holds 1°C to 8°C evenly through the cabinet
  • Digital temperature control and monitoring; Turbo Air says it was the first company to put digital control on commercial refrigerators, back in 1997
  • Turbo Cooling function for a fast pull-down after loading in fresh stock
  • Patented self-cleaning condenser that brushes dust off the condenser 2 to 3 times a day, helping it shed heat and easing strain on the compressor
  • Front breathing design for tight spaces, with an easy-open front grille and condenser filter
  • Hot gas condensate system, so no extra drain is needed
  • Stainless steel exterior and interior, recessed grip handles and magnetic door gaskets
  • On castors as standard, legs optional

  • Airflow: keep the front grille clear, as that is where the condenser draws in and exhausts air.

Common questions:

Can it go in a tight spot with little room behind it?
Yes, that is what front breathing is for. The condenser takes in and exhausts air at the front, so the unit can sit closer to a wall or under a bench. Just keep the front grille clear.

How many shelves come with it?
Two adjustable heavy-duty PE-coated wire shelves are included. Ask us if you need more.

What does the -N in the model code mean?
It marks the current R290 hydrocarbon version of this model. R290 is a natural refrigerant and a climate-friendly alternative to older HFC refrigerants such as R134a.
