Williams Quartz Star HQS2GBHC - 2 Door Black Colorbond Upright Display Fridge 1225mm 900L
The Williams Quartz Star HQS2GBHC is the black Colorbond version of the two-door Quartz Star display fridge: 900 litres behind two triple-glazed glass doors, with LED lighting that makes drinks and packaged food stand out against the dark interior. It suits bars, bottle shops, cafes and front-of-house areas where the fridge is on show. Made in Australia, it holds +1°C to +4°C in rooms up to 40°C, runs on R290 refrigerant and plugs into a 10 amp outlet. The refrigeration system sits in a removable cassette under the cabinet. The HQS2GWHC is the same fridge in white and the HQS2GSHC is stainless steel.
Key features:
- Black Colorbond interior and exterior with a stainless steel internal floor
- Two triple-glazed glass doors with cool white LED strip lighting and an on/off dimmer switch
- 900 litres of storage with 4 adjustable plastic-coated shelves per door

- Warm evaporator air blown up the front of the glass to help stop fogging

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: 1225mm wide, 740mm deep, 2000mm high on castors and 230 kg. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; getting it inside and into position is your responsibility, so measure the route.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point with a 2 m cable.
- Airflow: keep the grille at the base of the cabinet clear so the cassette can breathe, and leave some space around the unit.
- Drain: not required. Defrost water is evaporated by the vaporiser.
Compare similar models:

- Williams HQS2GSHC: stainless steel finish inside and out
- Williams HQS1GBHC: single door black display fridge, 500 litres

- Williams HP2GBHC: Pearl range black two-door with top-mounted refrigeration, 950 litres
Common questions:
Is the inside black as well?
Yes. The Colorbond finish is applied to the interior and exterior, apart from the rear and underside, and the internal floor is stainless steel.
Does it need a drain?
No. The waste heat recovery vaporiser evaporates defrost water, so it only needs a 10 amp power point. We supply the equipment only.
Can I change the lighting?
The standard lighting is cool white LED strips with a dimmer switch. Warm LED lighting is an option if you prefer a softer look for wine or food.
