Williams Quartz Star HQS1GBHC - 1 Door Black Colorbond Upright Display Fridge 740mm 500L
Black Colorbond gives the Williams Quartz Star HQS1GBHC a darker, more modern look than the white version, which suits bars, bottle shops and cafes where the fridge is part of the fit-out rather than hidden out the back. Underneath the finish it is the same Australian-made 500 litre glass door fridge: +1°C to +4°C, rated for rooms up to 40°C, R290 refrigerant and a 10 amp plug. The refrigeration system is bottom-mounted in a removable cassette, so there is nothing sitting on top of the cabinet. If you want the same fridge in white, look at the HQS1GWHC; for a stainless steel finish, the HQS1GSHC.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: at 740mm wide and 740mm deep it fits through a standard doorway, but it stands 2000mm high on its castors and weighs 160 kg. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.
- Power: a standard 10 amp power point is all it needs, with a 2 m cable fitted.
- Airflow: the system draws air at the base of the cabinet, so keep the lower grille unobstructed and leave some space around the unit.
- Drain: not required. Defrost water is evaporated by the vaporiser.

What does HC in the model code mean?
Hydrocarbon. The HQS1GBHC runs on R290, a natural refrigerant with very low global warming potential.
Which side does the door open from?
The glass door is left-hand hinged as standard when you face the front of the fridge. Williams can build it with the opposite hang, but this must be requested when you order a new unit.
Is heated glass available?
Yes. A triple-glazed heated glass door is an option for humid sites where condensation is a problem. Ask us before you order.
