The Williams Quartz Star HQS1GSHC is the stainless steel version of the single door Quartz Star display fridge, built in Australia for kitchens, delis and food retailers that want a wipe-down finish with a clear view of what is inside. It stores 500 litres at +1°C to +4°C, copes with room temperatures up to 40°C, and plugs into a 10 amp outlet. The refrigeration system lives in a removable cassette at the bottom of the cabinet, which keeps the overall height to 2000mm and makes servicing easier. The HQS1GWHC and HQS1GBHC are the same cabinet in white or black Colorbond, and the HQS1SSHC swaps the glass door for a solid stainless steel one.

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: the cabinet is 2000mm high, 740mm wide and 740mm deep on its castors and weighs 160 kg. It arrives by tailgate truck at the front of your premises; moving it inside and positioning it is up to you, so check the route first.
- Power: standard 10 amp plug with a 2 m cable. No electrician needed.
- Airflow: keep the grille at the base of the cabinet clear so the cassette can draw and discharge air, and leave some room around the sides.
- Finish: the rear and underside are not stainless steel as standard. A stainless steel rear and underside is available as an option.

Will it cope in a hot kitchen?
Williams rates the glass door Quartz Star for room temperatures up to 40°C. If your kitchen runs hotter, the solid door HQS1SSHC is rated to 43°C.
Can I add more shelves or stainless steel shelves?
Yes. Extra plastic-coated shelves with clips and punched stainless steel shelf upgrades are available. Ask us for a price.
Do you install it?
No installation is needed. It plugs into a standard 10 amp power point and has no drain. We supply the equipment only.
