Yasaki BC-12V2 - 12L Bowl Cutter / Cutter Mixer, 2 Speeds
The Yasaki BC-12V2 is the largest of the Yasaki V2 bowl cutters, a full stainless steel 12 litre cutter mixer for caterers, butchers and production kitchens that chop, mince and mix in volume. A ventilated 2200W motor drives a strong cutlery steel knife at 1500 or 2200 rpm, plus a pulse function. Compared with the 5 and 8 litre models, it has a wider, taller body and a bigger motor.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: it needs a 15 A outlet, not a standard 10 A power point. If you don't have one, it must be installed by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
- Bench space: at 623mm tall and 29 kg, it needs a sturdy bench with room overhead.
- What it's for: Yasaki's manual says it is not for meat with bone, tough skin, shells or fish scales, or for fruit and vegetables with nuts or tough skins.

Common questions:
Is the BC-12V2 faster than the smaller models?
No. Its top speed is 2200 rpm, against 2800 rpm on the BC-5V2 and BC-8V2. It has a bigger 2200W motor to drive the larger 12 litre bowl.
Can I add ingredients while it runs?
Yes. The transparent lid has an opening for adding ingredients during operation.
What plug does it need?
A 15 A outlet. If you don't have one, a licensed electrician must install it.
