Yasaki BC-5V2 - 5L Bowl Cutter / Cutter Mixer, 2 Speeds
The Yasaki BC-5V2 is a compact 5 litre bowl cutter (cutter mixer) for cafes, restaurants and delis that chop, mince and blend every day. It chops herbs, makes breadcrumbs, minces meat and blends sauces and dips in a food-grade stainless steel bowl, driven by a 1500W motor with two speeds and a pulse button. It is the smallest of the three Yasaki V2 bowl cutters, with the same motor and speeds as the 8 litre BC-8V2 in a shorter body.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: FED lists a 15 A plug, so it needs a 15 A outlet, not a standard 10 A power point. If you don't have a 15 A outlet, it must be installed by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
- What it's for: Yasaki's manual says it is not for meat with bone, tough skin, shells or fish scales, or for fruit and vegetables with nuts or tough skins.
- Cleaning: the blade is hand wash only.

What plug does the BC-5V2 need?
FED lists it at 1500W with a 15 A plug, so it needs a 15 A outlet rather than a standard power point. If you don't have one, a licensed electrician must install it.
Can I add oil or seasoning while it runs?
Yes. The lid has a rubber opening so you can add liquids and spices during mixing, and a scraper on the lid keeps the mix even.
Can it break down bones or shellfish?
No. Yasaki's manual says it is not designed for meat with bone, tough skin, shells or fish scales.
