For mid-size batches of chopping, mincing and mixing, the Yasaki HR-9 gives you a 9 litre stainless steel bowl with variable speed and an 1800W motor. The bowl locks in place, the blade assembly is stainless steel, and a see-through lid lets you check progress and add ingredients while it runs. It sits between the 6 litre HR-6 and the 12 litre HR-12, and carries a longer warranty than either.
