Yasaki JDR-520B - Benchtop Dough Sheeter, 500mm Belt

The Yasaki JDR-520B is a benchtop dough sheeter for bakeries, patisseries and pizzerias that roll pastry and dough every day. It has a 500mm belt, 830mm tables and adjustable thickness from 1 to 35mm, handling up to 5 kg of dough on single-phase power. It is the bench version of the floor-standing JDR-520/3N, with shorter tables and a standard 10 A plug instead of three-phase power.

Key features:

  • 500mm belt width with 830mm tables
  • Thickness adjustable from 1 to 35mm
  • Large 40mm roller opening with large hard chrome rollers
  • Dough capacity of 5 kg
  • Steel, stainless steel and aluminium construction rather than plastic parts and casings
  • Scraper assemblies that are easy to remove and clean, with low replacement cost
  • Safety guards with internal safety switching
  • Food-grade conveyor belt (not a cotton belt) and no external switches for flour to get into
  • Rollers are locked in position internally, with no ratchet, and the conveyor drive rollers are easy to reach for cleaning in the folded position

Specifications:

  • Model: Yasaki JDR-520B
  • Belt width: 500 mm
  • Table length: 830 mm
  • Thickness range: 1–35 mm
  • Roller opening: 40 mm
  • Dough capacity: 5 kg
  • Dimensions: 2080 W x 880 D x 620 H mm
  • Weight: 150 kg
  • Power: 373W, 240V single phase, 10 A plug
  • Packed size for delivery: 720 x 970 x 1000 mm

Good to know before you buy:

  • Bench space: FED lists it at 2080mm wide and 150 kg, so it needs a long, strong bench.
  • Access: it arrives packed at 720 x 970 x 1000 mm, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking, so check your doorways.
  • Power: single phase, plugs into a standard 10 A power point.
  • Cleaning: FED notes that dough left to build up on the rollers can cause a bump under the belt that catches on the scrapers and rips the belt, so keep the rollers clean.

Common questions:

Do I need three-phase power?
No. The JDR-520B is the single-phase bench model and plugs into a standard 10 A power point. The floor models (JDR-520/3N and JDR-650/3N) are three-phase.

How thin can it roll?
The thickness adjusts from 1mm up to 35mm.

Can it fold up when not in use?
The tables fold, and FED notes the conveyor drive rollers are easy to reach for cleaning in the folded position. It ships packed at 720 x 970 x 1000 mm.
