Why choose a countertop display?

A countertop display needs no extra floor space. It sits on your existing counter, right where customers queue and pay, so it is the easiest way for a cafe, bakery, deli or service station to add impulse sales. Choose a chilled display for cakes, slices and desserts, or a heated display for pies, sausage rolls and hot snacks.

Chilled countertop cake displays

  • Atosa WSF and WSY cake display fridges: square (WSF) or curved (WSY) glass in 700mm or 900mm widths, from 100 to 160 litres.
  • Atosa TF and TY cake showcases: square (TF) or round (TY) showcases with removable back doors, wire shelves and LED lighting.

Both run at 2°C to 8°C. Keep cream cakes and fresh fillings at 5°C or below, as Australian food safety rules require.

Heated countertop hot food displays

  • Atosa WHF: square glass hot food displays, 150 litres (700mm) and 200 litres (900mm).
  • Atosa WHY: curved glass hot food displays, 125 litres (700mm) and 160 litres (900mm).

These heat from 30°C to 90°C with a digital display, adjustable stainless steel shelves, rear sliding doors and interior lighting. Hot food on display must be held at 60°C or above.

How to choose a countertop display

Measure your counter

Check the width and depth of the counter space, plus the height to any shelves or cabinets above. Leave room around the unit for ventilation, as countertop displays need to breathe to work properly.

Curved or square glass?

Curved glass gives a classic patisserie look. Square glass looks more modern and gives a little more usable space for the same width.

Matching pairs

The Atosa chilled and heated countertop displays come in the same 700mm and 900mm widths, so you can put a cold and a hot cabinet side by side for a neat, matching counter.
