The Atosa YDU0055A-251 is a compact, self-contained ice maker that makes up to 25 kg of ice a day and stores up to 30 kg in its built-in bin. It suits cafes, small bars and restaurants that need a steady supply of cubes for drinks without a separate bin. It is 467mm wide, can stand alone or be built in, and makes either full cubes or half cubes. Its sister model, the YDU0088A-251, has the same cabinet but makes 40 kg a day with a 25 kg bin.

Good to know before you buy:

• Water and drain: it needs a water supply and must be connected to a drain. Have both connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.
• Output: the 25 kg figure is measured at 21°C room temperature with 10°C water. In a hotter room or with warmer water, expect less ice per day.
• Airflow: it is air-cooled, so keep the vents clear and clean the removable air filter regularly.
• Access: it arrives packed at 570 x 640 x 850 mm and 35 kg, by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.
