Blizzard SN-1000P - Ice Cube Maker with 170kg Bin 450kg/24hr
When a 300kg machine isn't enough, the Blizzard SN-1000P makes up to 450kg of 22mm cube ice a day, with about 170kg of storage. It is air-cooled with an Italian Aspera compressor and suits large venues, hotels, events and food processing. It keeps the same 760 x 860mm footprint as the SN-500P and SN-700P but stands taller at 1920mm, and it needs a 15 A power outlet.
Key features:
- Up to 450kg of 22mm cube ice per 24 hours
- Storage for about 170kg
- Air-cooled, with an Italian Aspera compressor
- U.S. Morrill water pump and German ebm-papst fan
- Danfoss expansion valve and dry filter
- Saginomiya solenoid and hydraulic valve
- Stainless steel body
- Watermark certified

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: it needs a 15 A power outlet. If you don't have one near the machine, have a licensed electrician install it.
- Access: the packed unit is 1915mm high and the machine weighs 124 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises and doesn't include moving it inside, so check doorways and ceiling height and arrange help.
- Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. FED recommends a water filter (ask us about the WFI37000 filter kit). We supply the equipment only.
- Maintenance: FED advises that ice machines must be maintained. Change the water filter cartridge every 6 months and descale the unit. If the ice machine is not maintained, the warranty may be void.
Compare similar models:
- Blizzard SN-700P: 315kg a day, 170kg storage, runs on 10 A
- Blizzard SN-1500P: 675kg a day with 350kg storage, 1227mm wide
- Blizzard SN-2000P: 900kg a day, 350kg storage, three-phase
- Blizzard SN-258F: granular ice for food displays, 250kg a day
Common questions:
What plug does it need?
FED specifies a 15 A supply for this model, so a standard 10 A power point won't do. If you don't have a 15 A outlet, a licensed electrician will need to fit one.
Does 450kg a day mean I can store 450kg?
No. That is how much it can make in 24 hours. The storage holds about 170kg, and it keeps topping up as you use ice.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber, and to a 15 A outlet installed by a licensed electrician if needed.
