Blizzard SN-101B - Underbench Ice Maker 100kg/24hr
The Blizzard SN-101B is the highest-output cube model in the Blizzard underbench range, making up to 100kg of 23mm cube ice a day in a cabinet that still fits under a standard bench at 780mm high. The bin holds about 30kg, it runs on R290 natural refrigerant, and an internal drain pump and adjustable feet make it easier to fit in. Choose it over the similar-sized SN-81B when you need an extra 20kg of ice a day for busy bars and restaurants.
Key features:
- Up to 100kg of 23mm cube ice per 24 hours
- Bin holds about 30kg (bin control set at about 14kg)
- R290 natural refrigerant
- Internal drain pump
- Adjustable feet
- Air-cooled, stainless steel body
- U.S. Morrill water pump and German ebm-papst fans
- Danfoss expansion valve and dry filter, Saginomiya solenoid and hydraulic valve

Good to know before you buy:
- Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain. The internal pump moves the waste water to the drain point. A licensed plumber must make both connections, and FED recommends a water filter (ask us about the WFI37000 filter kit). We supply the equipment only.
- Power: runs on a standard 240V, 10 A power point.
- Airflow: it is air-cooled, so keep the vents clear and leave space around the cabinet, especially in a warm bar area.
- Maintenance: FED advises that ice machines must be maintained. Change the water filter cartridge every 6 months and descale the unit. If the ice machine is not maintained, the warranty may be void.
Compare similar models:
- Blizzard SN-81B: similar cabinet, 80kg a day of 22mm cubes
- Blizzard SN-210P: 95kg a day of 22mm cubes, 919mm high
- Blizzard SN-80C: 95kg a day of crescent ice with a 40kg bin
- Blizzard SN-420P: 189kg a day with a separate 125kg bin, for high-volume venues
Common questions:
Is 23mm ice different from the 22mm cubes on other models?
Only slightly larger. The SN-101B makes 23mm cubes, while most other Blizzard cube models make 22mm cubes.
How much ice is ready at any time?
The bin holds about 30kg, and the bin control is set at about 14kg, the level at which the machine pauses ice making.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber in your area.
