For busy bars, bistros and restaurants, the Blizzard SN-81B turns out up to 80kg of 22mm cube ice a day from an underbench cabinet 660mm wide and 780mm high. The bin holds about 30kg, there is an internal drain pump, and adjustable feet help you level it under the bench. Its sister model, the SN-101B, has an almost identical cabinet and makes 100kg a day of slightly larger 23mm cubes.

Good to know before you buy:

• Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain. The internal pump moves the waste water to the drain point. A licensed plumber must make both connections, and FED recommends a water filter (ask us about the WFI37000 filter kit). We supply the equipment only.
• Power: runs on a standard 240V, 10 A power point.
• Access: the packed unit is 760mm wide and 746mm deep. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so check doorways on the way to the bar.
• Maintenance: FED advises that ice machines must be maintained. Change the water filter cartridge every 6 months and descale the unit. If the ice machine is not maintained, the warranty may be void.
