Blizzard SN-200P - Under-Counter Large Cube Ice Maker 80kg/24hr

The Blizzard SN-200P makes the big, crystal-clear 48 x 48 x 58mm cubes that whisky bars, cocktail lounges, hotels and clubs use to keep spirits cold with less dilution. Its spray-type system freezes at -25°C to make dense cubes with a core temperature of -17°C, and it is tropicalised to work in rooms up to 43°C. FED rates it at 98kg a day in cool conditions and 80kg a day in a hot room, with a 30kg bin, all in an under-counter cabinet 660mm wide.

Key features:

  • Large crystal-clear cubes, 48 x 48 x 58mm (about 110g each)
  • Spray-type ice making at -25°C evaporation for dense, slow-melting cubes
  • Tropicalised for room temperatures up to 43°C
  • Intelligent control for ice making, harvesting, cleaning and fault alerts
  • Automatic cleaning cycle that takes about 35 minutes
  • SS304 stainless steel and ABS construction
  • Seamless PE-moulded bin with rounded corners for easy cleaning
  • Easy access to the filter, water trough and distribution tube
  • R290 natural refrigerant

Good to know before you buy:

  • Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. FED recommends a water filter (ask us about the WFI37000 filter kit). We supply the equipment only.
  • Output in hot rooms: like all ice makers, it makes less ice when the room and water are warmer. Plan on about 80kg a day in a hot bar.
  • Power: runs on a standard 240V, 10 A power point.
  • Maintenance: FED advises that ice machines must be maintained. Change the water filter cartridge every 6 months and descale the unit. If the ice machine is not maintained, the warranty may be void.

Common questions:

Why is the output shown two ways?
Ice makers slow down in warmer conditions. FED rates the SN-200P at 98kg a day with 21°C air and 10°C water, and 80kg a day with 32°C air and 21°C water.

How do I clean it?
Add cleaning liquid to the water trough and start the automatic cleaning cycle. It finishes in about 35 minutes.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber in your area.

Warranty: 2 years parts and labour.
