Flake ice moulds around whatever it touches, which makes it ideal for seafood and fresh food displays, salad bars, cocktails, juice bars and hospitals. The Icematic B95C-A makes up to 90kg of flake ice a day into its own 18kg bin, in a stainless steel cabinet just 500mm wide that fits under a bench. It is the smaller of the two 500mm Berries flakers; the B130C-A looks the same but makes up to 120kg.

Good to know before you buy:

• Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain point lower than the 230 mm outlet, as it drains by gravity. A licensed plumber must connect both. A water filter is recommended by Icematic's Australian distributor. We supply the equipment only.
• Under-bench fit: it stands 795 mm high on legs and 597 mm deep. Air goes in and out at the front, so keep the front vents clear.
• Power: standard 240V, 10 amp single-phase supply.
• Access: packed at 560 x 650 x 970 mm and 55 kg, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.

Common questions:

What is flake ice used for?
Icematic's distributor lists uses from keeping fresh fish on display to cocktails and juice bars, hospitals, and chilling the mix in sausage and bread production.

What does "25% residual water" mean?
It describes how wet the flake is. Standard flake ice carries about 25% water. Super flake machines such as the B505-A make a drier flake.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber in your area.
