The Benchstar GH-816 is a digital electric grill station for cafes, sandwich bars, takeaways and caterers grilling sandwiches, burgers, paninis and breakfast items in volume. Its cast aluminium plates give a 416 x 381mm cooking area, rated by FED at 9 slices per batch, with digital temperature control from 50°C to 300°C. A hinged floating top plate handles delicate food without squashing it, and the whole unit runs on a standard 10 A plug. The GH-819 is the wider 12 slice version.

What does the floating top plate do?
The hinged top plate floats over the food rather than pressing hard on it, so delicate items cook without being squashed.

Do the non-stick sheets need replacing?
Yes, over time. They are consumables, and FED sells replacement top and bottom sheets to suit the GH-816. Ask us for a price.

What plug does it need?
A standard 240V 10 A power point. It is rated at 2.3 kW.
