The Blizzard SN-145C is a modular crescent ice maker: an ice maker head that sits on its own storage bin holding about 140kg. FED's current specifications rate it at up to 155kg of 13 x 30 x 35mm crescent ice a day, enough for busy hotels, clubs and function venues. The head can also be fitted to the Blizzard SD-130B hands-free ice dispenser instead of the bin, and the combined unit is only 560mm wide.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: it arrives in two cartons, the largest being the bin at 625 x 925 x 1110mm. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so check doorways and corridors.
• Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. FED recommends a water filter (ask us about the WFI37000 filter kit). We supply the equipment only.
• Space: the assembled unit is 1720mm high, so check the ceiling height and any shelving above the spot.
• Maintenance: FED advises that ice machines must be maintained. Change the water filter cartridge every 6 months and descale the unit. If the ice machine is not maintained, the warranty may be void.

Is the bin included?
Yes. The SN-145C comes as an ice maker head plus a storage bin of about 140kg. If you want hands-free dispensing instead, the head can go on the SD-130B dispenser (sold separately).

FED's current specifications rate it at up to 155kg a day. Actual output depends on room and water temperature.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber in your area.
