The FED-X XPA800BT is a single-door bakery freezer built around full-size 600 x 800mm bakery trays, so frozen dough, pastries and bake-off stock can go straight in on the tray. It holds -22°C to -18°C with fan-forced cooling and automatic defrost, and FED rates it for rooms up to 43°C. It uses the same 740mm-wide, 737 litre cabinet as the XPA800TN chiller, so the two make a neat matching pair.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: the carton stands 2070mm tall and weighs well over 180 kg, so measure doorways, ceilings and corners on the way in. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking.
• Power: plugs into a standard 10 A power point.
• Trays: the 600 x 800mm bakery trays are not included, so budget for 10 if you want it fully loaded.
• Airflow: keep the vents clear and leave room around the cabinet so the fridge system can breathe, especially in a hot bakery.

Common questions:

Are the bakery trays included?
No. The cabinet takes ten 600 x 800mm trays on adjustable runners, and the trays are sold separately. Ask us for a price on trays.

Will it cope with a hot bakery?
Yes. FED rates the XPA800BT for room temperatures up to 43°C at 70% relative humidity.

Can the door hinge on either side?
Yes. The self-closing door is reversible, so it can suit the layout of your bakery.
