The Icematic B160C-A is a self-contained flaker with real holding capacity: it makes up to 160kg of flake ice a day and stores up to 50kg in its own bin. That is almost three times the storage of the 500mm B95C-A and B130C-A, so it suits seafood counters, fish markets, supermarkets and kitchens that fill display beds or chill large batches in one go. It comes in a 700mm wide stainless steel cabinet on legs and drains by gravity.

Good to know before you buy:

• Water and drain: needs a cold water supply and a drain point below the 236 mm drain outlet. A licensed plumber must connect both. A water filter is recommended by Icematic's Australian distributor. We supply the equipment only.
• Space: plan for 700 mm width, 650 mm depth and 995 mm height on legs.
• Power: standard 240V, 10 amp single-phase supply.
• Access: packed at 760 x 720 x 1070 mm and 72 kg, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways and corridors.

Common questions:

Is 50kg of storage enough for a seafood display?
It holds up to 50kg at once and keeps making ice to a maximum of 160kg a day. For bigger displays, a modular flake head on a separate bin, such as the B205-A on a BH56, stores more.

Can I set it to make ice overnight?
Yes. Ice production is programmable, including through the My Ice app.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber in your area.
