At 915mm wide, the Modular Systems B24/36 is a mid-size bay for smaller coolrooms and storerooms. It stands 1880mm high with four black plasticised tiers rated at 150kg each, and FED lists it as suitable for coolrooms and freezers. The deeper 610mm shelves give more room for cartons, crates and bulk packs. For a slimmer footprint, the B18/36 is the same width at 457mm deep.

Good to know before you buy:

• What's included: the shelves and posts for one four-tier unit, standing on bullet feet. Accessories are not included: castors (sold in pairs, with or without brake), extra shelves and 910mm or 2184mm posts (sets of 4) are extra.
• Access: the kit ships in a flat carton (630 x 935 x 165 mm), so it's easy to bring through a standard doorway. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside or unpacking.
• Space: the assembled unit needs 915 x 610mm of floor space and 1880mm of height. In a coolroom, keep it clear of the evaporator fan so cold air can circulate.

Does the B24/36 come with castors?
No. The B24/36 stands on bullet feet as standard. Castors are optional and come in pairs, with or without brakes. Ask us if you'd like to add them.

Should I choose the 457mm or 610mm depth?
The 457mm deep B18 kits leave a wider walkway in tight spaces, while the 610mm deep B24 kits hold bigger cartons. Both are 1880mm high with four 150kg shelves. The B24/36 is the 610mm deep version.

How much weight can each shelf hold?
FED rates each shelf at 150kg. On a 915mm bay, spread heavy stock evenly and keep the heaviest items on the lower tiers.
