Just over a metre wide, the Modular Systems PCU18/42 suits a small to medium coolroom wall. It's a 1800mm high, four-tier starter kit with vented composite shelf plates on poly-coated steel posts, rated at 250kg per shelf and suited to sub-zero storage. The 455mm depth keeps aisles clear in tighter coolrooms. If you need deeper shelves, the PCU24/42 is the same width at 610mm deep.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: the carton is 500 x 1100 x 1900 mm, so check your doorways, corridors and any tight corners for the 1900mm length. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside or unpacking.
• What's included: this is the starter kit for one four-tier unit with adjustable feet. Castors (5 inch, with or without brake, sold individually), corner connectors and the PCA18/42 add-on unit are extra.
• Going mobile: on castors the whole unit is rated to 300kg in total, far less than four fully loaded shelves, so lighten the load if you fit wheels.
• Space: the assembled unit needs 1060 x 455mm of floor space and 1800mm of height. In a coolroom, keep it clear of the evaporator fan so cold air can circulate.

Can I use the PCU18/42 in a freezer?
Yes. FED rates it for use at low, sub-zero temperatures, so it suits freezers as well as coolrooms.

Do you put it together?
We supply the equipment only. The PCU18/42 is assembled on site, and FED's buckle design makes assembly and shelf adjustment easier.
