Moduline SEC003E - GN 1/1 Infrared Electric Salamander
The Moduline SEC003E is a compact electric salamander for browning, gratinating and finishing dishes, with a GN 1/1 cooking surface and two fast infrared heating elements in the top plate. You can run one or both elements to suit the dish, lower the upper plate closer to the food, and set a digital timer of up to 20 minutes. It is the simpler of Moduline's two salamanders, without the glass ceramic base and plate detection of the SEH103E, and suits restaurants, pubs and cafes finishing plates on the pass.

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: it draws 18 A, more than a standard 10 A or 15 A power point can supply. It needs a suitable dedicated circuit, connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
- Mounting: a kit for hanging it on the wall is included. Make sure the wall can carry 58.5 kg. A stand with GN 1/1 side racks and adjustable feet are also available.
- Not included: trays, including non-stick trays, are sold separately.
