The Orved Idea 40 is a large benchtop chamber vacuum packer for kitchens that pack bigger cuts or several bags per cycle. It has a 410mm seal bar, a 16 m³/h pump and a 448 x 440mm chamber, 190mm high, with the same waterproof digital panel, 10 editable programs and smart vacuum sensor as the smaller Idea 30. Made in Italy, it suits butchers, caterers and busy restaurants. The Idea 41 adds gas readiness and a 20 m³/h pump.

Common questions:
How big a bag can I seal?
The seal bar is 410mm long, so choose bags no wider than that, and short enough to sit inside the 448 x 440mm chamber.
Can it pack liquids?
Orved says its chamber machines can seal both solid and liquid products.
Is it gas ready for MAP?
Orved doesn't list gas readiness for the Idea 40. If you need gas flushing, the Idea 41 is ready to connect to gas.
