The Polaris R140BT is a two-door upright freezer from the Rocket range, giving 1298 litres of 2/1 GN storage at -15°C to -25°C. It is a good fit for busy restaurants, bakeries, function centres and caterers who freeze in bulk. Indirect ventilation through full-height ducting spreads the cold evenly, thick 83 mm insulation and 65 mm doors hold it in, and Polaris rates it for kitchens up to 43°C. It matches the R140TNN fridge, and the R70BT is the single-door version.

Good to know before you buy:

• Access: 1400 mm wide and 2080 mm tall, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Measure doorways, corridors and ceiling heights before it arrives.
• Door clearance: plan for around 1472 mm of depth when the doors are open.
• Power: runs on standard single-phase 240V power, 0.65 kW.
• Airflow: keep vents clear and leave space around the cabinet, particularly in a hot kitchen.
