The UX-50SBC DD is an underbench dishwasher for 500 x 500 mm baskets with 380 mm of load height, so it handles plates, trays and pans as well as glasses. It suits cafes, restaurants, school and aged care kitchens that want a full-size dishwasher under the bench without a 3-phase supply. Compared with the UX-40SB DD glasswasher it has a bigger basket, more height, a larger tank and a stronger wash pump.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: comes with a 15 amp plug, so it needs a 15 amp power point.
• Water: needs a water connection and drain, connected by a licensed plumber. It is Watermark approved.
• Delivery: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways and under-bench space for a 600 x 635 x 835 mm unit, about 72 kg.
• Installation: the water supply and drain must be connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.

Common questions:

Will it take trays and gastronorm pans?
Yes. Sammic rates the 380 mm loading height for dishes, Euronorm trays, GN 1/1 pans and pizza plates up to 39 cm across.

How hard is it to clean at the end of the day?
The deep-drawn tank and built-in rack guides have rounded corners with no hard-to-reach spots. The surface filters lift out without taking the wash arms off, and a 3-stage filter system (surface, tank and extraction) keeps the wash water clean through the day, with part of the water renewed after each cycle.

Do I need to buy separate dosing pumps?
No. The detergent dispenser, rinse aid pump and a drain pump with level sensor are fitted, so you only need to supply the detergent and rinse aid.
